System integrations

Systems that talk to each other

I connect your systems through their APIs, so data flows automatically and you hear about errors.

A good fit if

  • the same data is typed into several systems by hand
  • your systems have an API or at least a file export
  • data has to stay up to date without manual work

What you get

  • Connecting two systems through an API
  • Authentication and data mapping
  • Retries and error alerts
  • Monitoring and documentation

How it goes

  1. Discovery

We go through the systems, the APIs and the data that moves.

  2. Build

I build the integration and test it in failure situations too.

  3. Rollout

We put it into use with monitoring, and you get the documentation.

Example scenario

Online store orders are typed into the accounting system by hand. An integration moves the orders automatically, checks the data and alerts you if an order doesn't go through.

An illustrative example, not a client project.

Frequently asked questions

What if a system doesn't have an API?

Data can often still be exported, for example as a file. We work out the options before anything is built.

What happens if the other system is briefly down?

The integration retries and no data is lost. If the problem continues, you get an alert.

How is privacy handled?

Only the necessary data moves, with only the access rights needed. We go through the legal basis before building.
